Giuel means "jewel," and that's how our grandfather called his workshop, crafting "piode," the typical stones of the Valmalenco.The apartment's name, Ollare, actually refers to a type of "pioda" stone, ideal for cooking exquisite food on the grill or in pots called "lavecc" in dialect.
